October 24, 2011 - According to reports a Sunday afternoon motorcycle collision with a big rig tanker truck on the I-5 Freeway resulted in two deaths.
The accident according to the California Highway Patrol occurred during the 28th annual Love Ride at approximately 11:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Brandford Street in the northbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol stated that upon colliding with the big rig the operator of the motorcycle and his female passenger were both killed upon impact. According to Love Ride founder Oliver Shokouh, stated that he did not believe the riders were involved in the Love Ride. Shokouh said that this was a sad event and that his condolences go out to their families. Collision Involving Two Trucks and a Sedan Leaves One Person Dead
October 18, 2011-According to reports by the truck accident attorneys at Ehline Law Firm PC, two trucks and a sedan collided in a Highway 126 crash.
According to authorities the collision occurred at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Highway 126, resulting in the death of one person. Authorities believe that the crash involving a big rig, a trash truck and a Jaguar sedan was caused by the big rig. They believe that either a tire blew out or the big rig lost a wheel, causing the driver to lose control.
The driver of the Jaguar sedan was fatally injured in the collision and another person involved in the crash was air lifted to an area hospital, authorities stated. The fatal collision caused one side of the 126 Highway to be closed and traffic had to share the other side of the highway.

Eastbound 91 and Southbound 57 Shut After Big Rig Rollover Crash
October 5, 2011-According to reports eastbound 91 and southbound 57 were shut down after a big rig rollover crash.
According to the California Highway Patrol there was a big rig crash that occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. in the area of the eastbound 91 and southbound 57 freeway connector road.
The driver of the big rig truck stated that the back end of the big rig spun out when he hit a bump, causing it to slam into the guardrail. This caused the big rig to overturn.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Gabe Montoya there were no major injuries suffered by the driver of the truck.
The closure was dismissed at approximately 3:30 p.m. after Caltrans crews had time to repair the guardrail damage.
