Freeway Lanes Blocked After Truck Overturns

March 28, 2011-According to reports an overturned truck blocked freeway lanes on the I-5. According to the California Highway Patrol a Nissan four door sedan and Chevrolet truck collided in the northbound lanes of the I-5 in Anaheim. The crash occurred at approximately 1:46 p.m. south of Harbor Boulevard.

Officer Quesada stated the collision caused the truck to rollover on to its roof. There was no one transported to the hospital involved in the crash. Although the details are not totally known, liability for the accident will depend upon who owed the duty to whom, and a truck accident lawyer would need to negotiate, or ultimately try the facts of the case to the jury. In this case, the collision blocked the right lane of the I-5 Freeway and was expected to be closed till approximately 3:00 p.m. according to the California Highway Patrol.

So there can ultimately be more than one victim of a car accident, but here, only the parties in the relative zone of danger would be entitled to seek recovery, unless there was some other extenuating circumstance.
