September 14, 2011- According to reports two big rigs crashed injuring two drivers in Sepulveda Pass. According to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott the big rig collision was reported at approximately 8:45 a.m. and occurred in the 2500 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard.
The big rigs were hauling dirt at the time of the collision and it has been reported that they were father and son. One of the trucks rolled over during the collision North Sepulveda Boulevard in the vicinity of Mountain Gate Drive.Scott the LAFD public information officer stated both drivers were injured with non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Scott said that he had no further details about the driver’s victim injuries, since once they are transferred to the hospital’s care they no longer follow the case. Traffic was still slow at approximately 11:00 a.m. through Sepulveda Pass, which included Sepulveda Boulevard and Mulholland Drive.
