August 8, 2011-According to reports a big rig crashed through the freeway median divider in Santa Clarita. According to California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs, a the big rig crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Antelope Valley Freeway, in the vicinity north of Agua Dulce Canyon Road.
The big rig that was hauling two trailers crashed into the center median divider on the 14 Freeway, crashing half way through the divider. According to California Highway Patrol Officre Jacobs the big rig and trailers blocked three of the northbound lanes and one of the southbound lanes on the Antelope Valley Freeway, while crews were clearing the scene of the crash.
There were no injuries reported in the big rig freeway crash, stated CHP Officer Jacobs.
