July 22, 2011-According to reports a woman killed in a hit and run crash in Huntington Beach has been identified. The hit and run crash that occurred at approximately 1:48 a.m. on Brookhurst Street and Atlanta Avenue. The woman has been identified as Oriana Millan age 24 of Huntington Beach.
According to Huntington Beach Police Department Lt. John Domingo, Oriana Millan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly after 2:00 a.m. Lt. Dimingo stated that Millan and Harlan Coffman age 25 were crossing Brookhurst Street when Millan was struck by the vehicle. Coffman a residen of La Mirada sustained injuries that were non-life threatening and is in stable condition, according to police.
According to police the driver suspected of felony hit and run was arrested approximately two hours later in Laguna Beach. The silver Toyota that Roberts, a resident of Juan Capistrano was driving was impounded and he was booked in the Huntington Beach City jail. Huntington Beach police are asking that any witnesses to the hit and run contact the Huntington Beach Police Department.
