Highway 118 Big Rig Crash Causes Traffic Tie-up

August 9, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports by truck accident attorneys in Los Angeles, a big rig crash on the 118 Highway tied up morning traffic during the work commute.

According to the California Highway Patrol spokesman Ed Jacobs, the big rig crash occurred around 8:00 a.m. causing a traffic backup.

The crash occurred on the transition road in the vicinity of the 118 Freeway at Interstate 5 in Pacoima.

According to the California Highway Patrol spokesman the crash involving the semi truck stalled traffic in the eastbound lanes of the 118 Highway and an ambulance was in route to the scene.

Jacobs stated they expected traffic to be back to normal within a half hour.
