Truck Driver Pinned Underneath Trailer

January 6, 2010 (by Horatio Algren) According to reports by Los Angeles trucking accident attorneys, a truck driver was pinned underneath of the trailer to his truck while attempting to fix the breaks.

The driver according to officials was pinned under a 25 foot flatbed trailer that was hauling a bulldozer, when he attempted to fix a problem with the breaks and the trailer collapsed trapping the man.

According to Capt. Ed Engler of the Orange County Fire Department the accident occurred in the 1800 block of West Collins Avenue, and at least 16 Orange County fire fighters responded to the scene at approximately 10:51 a.m.

The truck driver according to Capt. Engler was able to crawl out from under the collapsed trailer and was said to have no severe injuries, but was shaken up.
