Truck Flips Over In Hollywood Hills Lawyers Report

According to reports by Hollywood Hills Truck rollover accident attorneys, there was an truck accident reported just prior to 8:00 a.m. in the vicinity of the 8900 block of Crescent Drive, in the Laurel Canyon area of Hollywood Hills on May 26, 2008. Though it is unclear what lead the driver to lose control of the large truck.

There have been few facts released in this accident, however what is known is that a Sport Utility Vehicle was overturned at the bottom of a steep slope landing in a yard against a carport at 8711 Duncamp Place this is in the area of Lookout Mountain Avenue as reported according to the Los Angeles Firefighters spokesman Brian Humphrey.

In the Hollywood Hills SUV versus house accident there were four people injured, one woman is reported to have sustained major injuries and a child between the ages of one and two was placed in a C-Spine brace. Both were transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It was reported that the child was in a child safety seat at the time of the accident.

One person who has been identified as a man in his 70’s sustained fatal injuries, according to spokesperson Humphrey’s.

The Los Angeles Policed Departments West Traffic Division will be handling the investigation of this accident.

18 Wheeler Accident Closes Lanes of Highway 60

In an accident that occurred during the morning commute shortly after 6:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Azusa Avenue, between Hacienda Heights and the City of Industry when a tractor-trailer overturned.

According to reports California Highway Patrol Officer David Porter stated that the only damage was to the big rig and at first it was thought that one person was injured but there were no injuries. The accident did block at least two of the eastbound lanes on Highway 60, that took several hours to reopen.

In a chain reaction there was a two car accident behind that of the tractor-trailer, however there were no injuries in that accident either.

The original accident with the 18-wheeler is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol and the eastbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were reopened at a little after 9a.m. due to the tractor trailer accident and clean up which closed the right four lanes and backed traffic up a few miles on Freeway 60 and the Azusa Avenue onramp.
